A 32-year-old man who was fatally wounded in a shooting in Lynwood was identified Thursday by county authorities.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office determined Salvador Ortega Sandoval was the victim.
The shooting was reported about 11:20 p.m. Saturday and occurred in the 3100 block of Lynwood Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Paramedics rushed Sandoval to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
