An argument between two men led to a shooting that sent the victim to a hospital for treatment of a wound, authorities said Saturday.
The shooting happened at about 11:50 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of South Hill Street, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, he said.
The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance and had stable vital signs, the spokesman said.
