A speeding motorcyclist was killed when he crashed his bike into a parked vehicle in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
The driver, riding a 2013 Triumph, was speeding eastbound on Pacific Coast Highway, lost control of his bike and struck a parked vehicle on the south curb at about 5 p.m. Saturday, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Officers dispatched to the location in the 1700 block of Pacific Coast Highway, near Seal Beach Boulevard, located the victim. Paramedics arrived on the scene to rush him to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.
