Orange County Fire Authority firefighters Tuesday knocked down a five-acre brush fire in Ladera Ranch.
The blaze started about 4:45 p.m. at Narrow Canyon Road and Acaster Way, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Sean Doran.
“We’re making great progress and stopped the spread toward homes,” Doran said at 6 p.m. “We’re looking good.”
The Orange County Fire Authority announced at 6:27 p.m. the fire has been declared under control.
