One man was injured in a house fire Thursday in Cypress Park.
Fire crews responded to a fire in the rear and detached garage of a single-family house around 4:08 a.m. Thursday at 2679 N. Thorpe Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The flames were knocked down in 33 minutes with 41 firefighters responding to the scene, the LAFD said.
The man’s injuries were not life-threatening and he was being treated by paramedics at the scene, according to the LAFD.
LAFD personnel remained at the scene for overhaul operations and to investigate the cause of the fire, the LAFD said.
