The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Thursday announced the election of its 2026-27 Academy Foundation Board, with casting director Kim Taylor-Coleman reelected president.
The Academy Foundation oversees the organization’s educational, preservation and cultural activities, including the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the Margaret Herrick Library, the Academy Film Archive, the Academy Collection and talent development programs.
Also elected as board officers were Brooke Breton as vice president, Paul Cameron as vice president, David Dinerstein as treasurer and Marlon West as secretary, according to the Academy.
Other board members are Patricia Cardoso, Peter Devlin, Richard Hicks, Lynette Howell Taylor, Larry Karaszewski, Chris Tashima and Terilyn A. Shropshire.
“The Academy Foundation plays a vital role in expanding our global reach and supporting our film community through the Academy Museum, Academy Collection, educational initiatives and preservation work,” Academy CEO Bill Kramer said in a statement. “I am incredibly grateful to our Academy Foundation Board members for dedicating their time, expertise and support to drive forward these impactful and important efforts.”
Academy Foundation Board members and officers serve one-year terms. Dinerstein, Howell Taylor and Taylor-Coleman will also serve one-year terms on the Academy Museum Board of Trustees as representatives of the Foundation Board.
