Fire Tuesday damaged a kitchen on the first floor of a two-story duplex in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 7:50 a.m. to 149 E. 109th St. had the fire out in 11 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
