Fire Sunday damaged a unit in a row of commercial occupancies in Van Nuys, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 4:57 a.m. to 16760 W. Stagg St. had the fire out within 36 minutes of their arrival, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Firefighters forced access and quickly discovered active fire inside Unit 218,” said Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department. “Roof and interior operations coordinated to ventilate smoke and extinguish flames in the unit of origin.”
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
