A 60-year-old man was rescued from a fire at a one-story house in South Los Angeles by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel, the department said Friday.
Firefighters responded at 10:52 p.m. Thursday to 963 W. 46th St., near Vermont Avenue, where they knocked down the flames in 15 minutes, said LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz
The victim was taken to a hospital by LAFD paramedics in an unknown condition.
Firefighters will remain at the scene for fire damage overhaul, Lantz said.
