Firefighters put out flames in a home in Irvine’s Woodbridge community Saturday.
The fire was reported at 7:51 p.m. Saturday in a two-story house on Mountain Ash, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Sean Doran.
The flames were showing from a second-story bedroom, Doran said.
Residents in the area who smelled smoke were urged to close their windows and doors, Irvine police said.
One person was assessed for injuries but declined to be taken to a hospital for treatment, Doran said.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
