Melissa McCarthy’s art of the sendup imitated life Saturday night when she reprised her role of White House press secretary Sean Spicer — dressed as the Easter Bunny.

But Spicer is being reminded, incessantly, that he donned an Easter Bunny costume a decade ago in the Bush White House.

“Working at the time in the office of the U.S. Trade Representative, Spicer accompanied President George Bush to the annual Easter Egg Roll,” recalls Fox News.

On SNL, McCarthy-as-Spicer apologized for off-tune references to Hitler.

“Yes, you all got your wish this week, Spicey finally made a mistake,” she said. “It would be really great if the nitpickers could see the bigger picture and didn’t focus on every little slur and lie I say.”

Then McCarthy proceeded to make a mash of history again, referring to Passover as “Jewish Easter” and saying: “I know they’re not really called the ‘Holocaust centers’…I clearly meant to say ‘concentration clubs,’ OK? Let it drop!”

A great day at @whitehouse for the 139th #EasterEggRoll #whitehouse
