A former Disneyland employee made his first appearance in federal court Thursday in Florida, where he works at the theme park in Orlando, Florida now, on receiving child pornography.

Austin Larmour, 27, was charged last month with receipt of child pornography while he and a fellow Disneyland employee were active in an online group chat in which illicit material of children was shared, according to an affidavit from Homeland Security Special Agent Joseph DeLuca.

The case against Larmour originated with a Homeland Security Operation Swipe Left investigation in Arizona in 2021, according to DeLuca.

The case started with the arrest of Michael Spatz of Gilbert, Arizona, who pled guilty in Arizona to sexual exploitation of a minor and was sentenced to 35 years in prison, DeLuca said.

Spatz “was actively sexually assaulting his infant nephew and producing and distributing (child pornography) related to those assaults,” DeLuca said.

The case against Larmour focuses on his participation in a Telegram group thread called “Hoes,” DeLuca said.

Larmour was invited into the thread on Nov. 27, 2019, DeLuca said.

Larmour was accused of discussing sexually assaulting children with other users and encouraged another man to share locker room photos of male teens at a soccer academy, DeLuca said.

One of the users on Nov. 27, 2019, shared a nearly two-minute video of the rape of a boy about 5 to 8 years old, DeLuca said.

Larmour allegedly said, “I wanna see more stuff like this,” and “send some more,” DeLuca said.

Larmour requested more material and the user shared a “compilation of over 30 video clips” of sex assaults on children that included bestiality, DeLuca said.

Larmour allegedly invited another man he met at Disneyland to join the group chat, DeLuca said.

Larmour moved to Orlando and started working at Disney World, DeLuca said. When investigators interviewed Larmour, he said he attempted to organize a group trip to Disneyland for the others in that “Hoes” chat with his “employee privileges,” DeLuca said.

Larmour denied ever having any “physical contact with children,” but that his talks about “abducting and sexually assaulting children with other members of the `Hoes’ Telegram thread were fantasy,” DeLuca said.
