Center Theatre Group Monday announced its 2026-27 season, featuring 12 productions across the Mark Taper Forum, Ahmanson Theatre and Kirk Douglas Theatre.
The lineup includes an eight-show subscription package of plays and musicals, along with four additional productions presented under the CTG:FWD banner.
“I am thrilled to announce our 2026/27 Season which is comprised of the kind of bold, vibrant, and expansive lineup of shows that you will only find at Center Theatre Group,” Artistic Director Snehal Desai said in a statement.
Managing Director and CEO Meghan Pressman added, “It truly is an incredibly expansive season and we can’t wait to share it with you.”
The main subscription season includes:
— “The Turning,” a world premiere folk-infused musical at the Mark Taper Forum, Sept. 2 – Oct. 11, 2026;
— “Destiny of Desire,” a telenovela-inspired comedy with music at the Mark Taper Forum, Nov. 11 – Dec. 20, 2026;
— “John Proctor Is the Villain,” a coming-of-age drama at the Mark Taper Forum, March 17 – April 25, 2027;
— “Fences,” August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama at the Mark Taper Forum, May 26 – July 3, 2027;
— “Oh, Mary!,” a dark comedy about Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, at the Ahmanson Theatre, Nov. 10 – Dec. 6, 2026;
— “Christmas Carol Goes Wrong,” a comedic take on the Dickens classic at the Ahmanson Theatre, Dec. 12, 2026 – Jan. 10, 2027;
— “Fiddler on the Roof” (in Yiddish), a revival of the classic musical at the Ahmanson Theatre, Feb. 13 – March 14, 2027; and
— “BOOP! The Musical,” a Broadway musical based on the Betty Boop character at the Ahmanson Theatre, July 6 – Aug. 1, 2027.

— “Clue,” a stage adaptation of the classic murder mystery at the Ahmanson Theatre, Sept. 8 – 12, 2026;
— “Dog Man: The Musical,” a family-friendly show based on the bestselling series from Dav Pilkey, the creator of “Captain Underpants,” at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, Sept. 12 – Oct. 18, 2026;
— “The Music Man,” the classic musical comedy at the Ahmanson Theatre, Oct. 27 – Nov. 8, 2026; and
— “Riverdance 30 – The New Generation,” an Irish dance production at the Ahmanson Theatre, April 13 – 18, 2027.
