The Cinema Audio Society announced Wednesday the dates for its 63rd and 64th annual CAS Awards, which honor outstanding achievements in sound mixing in film and television.
The 63rd CAS Awards are scheduled for March 6, 2027, while the 64th ceremony will take place Feb. 26, 2028, according to the organization.
The CAS Awards are presented annually to recognize excellence in sound mixing across multiple categories, including live-action and animated motion pictures, television series and non-fiction programming.
The event also includes honors such as the Student Recognition Award, Career Achievement Award and Filmmaker Award.
“Our community of sound professionals continues to raise the bar year after year,” Cinema Audio Society President Peter Kurland said in a statement. “The CAS is proud to shine a spotlight on their remarkable work. We anticipate a great celebration of the best in sound mixing at the 63rd CAS Awards.”
Founded in 1964, the Cinema Audio Society is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the art and science of sound in the motion picture and television industry.
