A person was taken to a hospital after jumping from the balcony of a hotel in Inglewood Monday, authorities said.
Firefighters were called at about 1:05 p.m. to a multi-story hotel located in the 5000 block of West Century Boulevard on reports of a person suffering a psychotic episode standing on a top floor balcony, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The person jumped at about 1:45 p.m. and was recovered by paramedics, who took them to a hospital in unknown condition.
No further details were immediately available.
