Three people were killed and three people were rushed to trauma centers from a vehicle crash Saturday morning in Pasadena, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 3 a.m. in the area of Foothill Boulevard and Vista Avenue, Pasadena spokeswoman Lisa Derderian told City News Service.
The fatalities were believed to be between 18 and 21 years old. The ages of the three people taken to trauma centers were not immediately known, but their injuries appeared to “survivable,” Derderian said.
“Due to the crash, power was impacted in the area and quickly restored with the exception of a few businesses at this point,” she said, adding that a building sustained some structural damage.
No further information was immediately available.
