More than 1,000 Los Angeles Department of Water and Power customers were without electricity Saturday while crews worked to turn the lights back on.
The LADWP outage map did not state when the outages began. One, in the Broadway-Manchester area, affected 964 customers, according to the map. There was no estimate when power would be restored, but crews were working on it.
A smaller outage affected 64 customers in the Mid-Wilshire area. LADWP estimated power would be restored by about 11 p.m.
