The Ebony Alert that was in effect in Los Angeles, Orange and three other counties was canceled and the at-risk 14-year-old girl last seen in the unincorporated community of French Valley in southwestern Riverside County has been found.
Kushani Boyd was last seen at about 10 p.m. Monday near Sicily Lane and San Remo Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Tuesday on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
The circumstances surrounding her disappearance was unclear, but she was located, the CHP said.
The Ebony Alert was also in effect in San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Ebony Alerts are issued to help locate missing Black children, teenagers, and young adults ages 12 to 25 who have disappeared under unexplained or suspicious circumstances, or who are at risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired or abducted.
