SunLine Transit Agency asked for public help in clothing donations to benefit Desert Best Friend’s Closet Thursday in Thousand Palms.
The event started at 9 a.m. Thursday and will conclude at 4 p.m. at 32505 Harry Oliver Trail.
In partnership with NBC Palm Springs, the clothes will go to an organization that provides professional dress attire to those in need.
The public was encouraged to donate clean, gently used or new adult business and formal attire.
