A person was rushed to a hospital from a collision Sunday morning on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Sun Valley, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 2:15 a.m. on the southbound freeway at the Hollywood Way off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP issued a SigAlert closing the southbound freeway at the Hollywood Way off-ramp to investigate the crash. Motorists were advised to avoid the area or seek alternate routes.
