An at-risk 60-year-old woman who went missing in the Leimert Park neighborhood of Los Angeles has been located, authorities said Saturday.

The California Highway Patrol, which activated a Silver Alert when Kimberly Foley went missing, did not disclose where or when she was located.

Foley had last been seen at approximately 3:15 p.m. Friday near Fifth Avenue and West 43rd Street, according to the CHP, which activated the alert Friday on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
