The crash occurred at about 5 a.m. Sunday on the eastbound freeway, just east of Crenshaw Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It involved three vehicles and left “major debris” in the No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 lanes, the CHP said. Those four lanes were closed, with the No. 5 lane remaining open.
