Auditions were open Thursday for the Pasadena Chorale’s 2026-2027 concert season, offering singers the chance to be considered for two ensembles.

Auditions opened Wednesday and will continue through April 22, with the first round requiring applicants to complete an online form and submit an unaccompanied audio recording, organizers said.

Singers selected to advance will participate in a second round that includes a rehearsal and live quartet audition on May 6.

With one audition, performers may be considered for both the Pasadena Chorale and the Pasadena Choral Society, two ensembles with differing performance schedules and commitments, officials said.

“Great choral singing happens when individual voices come together with a shared purpose,” Pasadena Chorale’s Founding Artistic and Executive Director Jeffrey Bernstein said in a statement. “The Pasadena Chorale is a place where singers challenge themselves, connect with others, and create music that serves our community.”

Organizers said they welcome singers of all backgrounds and voice types and aim to build ensembles that reflect the diversity of the surrounding community.
