An electrical worker killed when he fell from a power pole in Hermosa Beach was identified Monday.
Russell Pena, 41, suffered traumatic injuries and died in an alley, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.
Officers and paramedics were dispatched at about 9:25 p.m. Wednesday to a medical emergency in the 200 block of Bayview Drive, according to Sgt. Keaton Dadigan of the Hermosa Beach Police Department.
“Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics ultimately pronounced the worker deceased at the scene,” Dadigan said.
