Motorists traveling on Pacific Coast Highway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard should expect intermittent lane closures Tuesday through Friday as crews work in Palisades Fire recovery zones.

Crews may close one lane on PCH between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays, according to Caltrans.

On Topanga Canyon Boulevard, also known as state Route 27, about a half-mile north of PCH, flaggers will direct alternating traffic through intermittent one-lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday to allow trucks to enter and leave the work zone.

The speed limit in the Topanga Canyon Boulevard work zone is 15 mph.

Motorists should expect delays, consider alternate routes during construction hours and use caution around blind curves, Caltrans said. Fines can be doubled in work zones.

Drivers can check current conditions on the Caltrans QuickMap website at quickmap.dot.ca.gov.
