Six people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision in Santa Ana that left four people trapped in a Toyota Corolla, authorities said Saturday.
The crash that involved the Corolla and a Toyota pickup was reported at 11:19 p.m. Friday in the area of 17th and North Bristol streets, according to Capt. Larry Kurtz of the Orange County Fire Authority.
The four people traveling in the Corolla had to be freed from the wreckage, Kurtz said. All parties involved, including two in the pickup, were taken to hospitals, Kurtz said.
The patients’ injuries were deemed not to be life-threatening, police said, and there was no reason to believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
