Orange County sheriff’s deputies Thursday were looking for two suspects involved in violence at a Yorba Linda party that led to the hospitalization of two victims.

The incident stemmed from a conflict with some party crashers in the 21000 block of Dunrobin Way about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, in which shots rang out, said Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Lane Lagaret.

When deputies arrived minutes later, they found a victim with a gunshot wound to the leg, Lagaret said. The patient was taken to an area hospital, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, Lagaret said.

Another victim was apparently pistol-whipped and suffered a head wound, Lagaret said.

The incident is not considered gang-related, Lagaret said. Investigators were looking for the suspect who fired the gun and another suspect who drove the shooter from the scene, he said.
