A second-alarm fire damaged a two-story home under construction in Seal Beach Friday morning.
The non-injury fire was reported at 1:04 a.m. at 207 Second St., said Capt. Larry Kurtz of the Orange County Fire Authority. It took 44 firefighters about 20 minutes to knock down the blaze, Kurtz said.
The back of the home sustained most of the damage and there was some minor damage to surrounding homes, he said. The cause of the fire was under investigation
