The PGA West Golf Club in La Quinta will host a shoot-out competition featuring local club players next Tuesday.
The indiGO Stadium Shoot-Out will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the PGA West Tournament Clubhouse located at 56-150 PGA Blvd.
The tournament will feature 16 challengers competing for $1,000 in cash on the Pete Dye Stadium Course’s 17th hole, known as “Alcatraz,” officials said.
Tickets for the event cost $25, with proceeds benefiting First Tee of Coachella Valley, a program that teaches kids how to overcome challenges by applying life skills attained through golf, organizers said.
Admission includes a complimentary breakfast burrito with coffee.
The tournament will be taped for later broadcast by KESQ at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 21.
