A Sliver Alert is in effect in Orange and Los Angeles counties Friday for a 58-year-old woman last seen in La Palma.
Geetaben Patel was last seen Monday near the intersection of Santa Margarita Lane and Del Sol Circle, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Patel was described as a 5-foot-2-inch tall woman weighing 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt with pink and purple pajama pants.
Anyone with information regarding Patel’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert was issued by the CHP on Thursday on behalf of the La Palma Police Department. The program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
