The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose 1.1 cents Saturday to $4.625, its highest amount since June 24.

The average price has increased each of the last 11 days except for Friday, when it was unchanged. It is 7.3 cents more than one week ago, 15.9 cents more than one month ago and 4.6 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.868 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose 1.4 cents to $4.593, its highest amount since June 10. The Orange County average price has increased 10 consecutive days, and is 5.9 cents more than one week ago, 18.3 cents more than one month ago and 9 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.865 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price decreased nine-tenths of a cent for the second straight day, to $3.192. The national average price is 4.3 cents more than one week ago and 5.2 cents more than one month ago, but 15.8 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.824 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
