The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped three-tenths of a cent Saturday to $4.456.

The average price is 1.1 cents less than one week ago and 27.3 cents less than one month ago, but 5.4 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.038 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $4.337. It is 2.5 cents less than one week ago, 31.7 cents less than one month ago, and identical to one year ago. It has dropped $2.122 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped 1.2 cents to $2.836. It is 3 cents less than one week ago, 19 cents less than one month ago and 19.8 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $2.18 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
