A 16-year-old Lake Elsinore who walked away from her residence and didn’t return was the focus of a region-wide search Wednesday.
Jackie Egbuho was last seen at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Bigfork Road and Quarry Way, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency posted an Ebony Alert for the missing teen, who is Black. The alert covers Riverside, Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Authorities said she left home without notifying anyone where she intended to go. When she didn’t return overnight, her loved ones reported her missing to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Jackie’s whereabouts were unknown Wednesday.
She is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds, with brown eyes and black shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants and white sneakers.
