Authorities Sunday sought the public’s help in locating a 79-year-old woman who went missing in Santa Ana.
Maria Chaidez was last seen at 2 p.m. Sunday on South Towner Street at Edinger Avenue in Santa Ana, and is believed to be on foot, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Chaidez was described as a 5-foot, 4-inch tall woman weighing 155 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown sweatshirt and brown pants.
Anyone who has seen Chaidez or knows of her whereabouts was asked to call 911.
