The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County increased seven-tenths of a cent Monday to $4.322, a day after rising four-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 1.1 cents more than one week ago and 5.2 cents more than one month ago, but 15.1 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.051 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $3.065, a day after rising three-tenths of a cent. It is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago and 3.9 cents more than one month ago, but six-tenths of a cent less than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.951 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
