Forecasts for Riverside County and the Inland Empire called for another storm to hit Thursday bringing more rainy weather.

“The next low pressure system from the northwest will bring more widespread showers late Thursday afternoon into Friday.” said the National Weather Service. ”With snow levels lowering to around 6000 feet late Thursday night, there could be moderate to

heavy snowfall in the mountains above 6500 feet.”

Some showers could linger into Saturday, but the chances for rain diminish over the weekend.

Drier and warmer weather is expected through next week with high temperatures warming to within a few degrees of average for Tuesday and Wednesday.
