Six adults were displaced after a single-story residential fire broke out Tuesday in Palm Springs.
The blaze was reported shortly before noon Tuesday in the 60 block of Bonanza Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said crews encountered heavy smoke coming from the structure, and the fire was contained at 12:25 p.m.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The Red Cross was requested at the scene to assist with the displaced individuals.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
