USC commit Jazzy Davidson scored a game-high 24 points and had a game-high eight assists as the U.S completed group play in the 2025 FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup with a 114-40 victory over Israel Tuesday in Brno, Czechia.

Davidson, a 6-foot-1-inch forward who is entering her senior year at Clackamas High School in Clackamas, Oregon and has made a non-binding verbal commitment to USC, made 11 of 13 shots, including two of three 3-point shots, in 23 minutes, 27 seconds.

The U.S. (3-0) had three other players finish in double figures, including incoming UCLA forward Sienna Betts, who scored 14 points and pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds in 18:13. Betts is a younger sister of Bruins’ All-America center Lauren Betts.

The 12-player U.S. team includes also includes Sierra Canyon School guard Jerzy Robinson, who scored six points in 12:56 Tuesday.

The U.S. trailed twice, 3-2 and 6-5, then went on an 18-2 run and led the rest of the game. The Americans led 37-13 at the end of the first quarter, 60-21 at halftime and 90-31 after three quarters.

The victory was 24th straight for the U.S. in the biennial tournament, dating back to the opener of the 2019 edition. The record in the tournament first played in 1985 is 25 by the U.S. from 2011-17.

Point guard Gal Raviv led Israel (1-2) with nine. She was the 2024-25 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, helping Quinnipiac to a 28-5 record.

The Americans will begin knockout round play at 5:30 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time Wednesday against China. The game will be streamed at www.youtube.com/fiba.
