The Lakers will be without four players and possibly a fifth when they face the Memphis Grizzlies Friday evening at Crypto.com Arena after losing four of their last five games.
Forward Jarred Vanderbilt is listed as questionable because of right leg soreness. He scored eight points in 27 minutes, 30 seconds in the Lakers’ most recent game, a 128-106 loss to the Detroit Pistons Tuesday at Crypto.com Arena.
Rookie forward Adou Thiero suffered a right MCL sprain Tuesday. He will be re-evaluated by team doctors in approximately four weeks, the team announced Wednesday. Thiero is averaging 1.3 points per game.
Guard Gabe Vincent (lumbar back strain) will miss his seventh consecutive game, guard Austin Reeves (left calf sprain) his third and forward Rui Hachimura (right calf soreness) his second.
This will be the second of three meetings between the teams. The Lakers were 117-112 winners Oct. 31 at Memphis. The teams will conclude their season series Sunday at Crypto.com Arena.
The Lakers enter Friday’s play fifth in the 15-team Western Conference with a 20-11 record. Memphis (15-18) is ninth in the conference.
