The California Highway Patrol Saturday issued a Silver Alert to aid in the search for a 79-year-old man last seen in Inglewood.
Sylvester Malone was last seen at about 6 a.m. Saturday at North Acacia Street and Venice Way, according to the CHP.
Malone is Black, 5-feet-9 inches tall, 172 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, wearing a denim baseball hit, light green hoodie, black pants and black shoes.
Anyone who sees Malone, or knows where he might be, was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at risk to aid in their swift recovery.
