The snow, ice and frigid temperatures that a large swath of the country continued to battle has also affected flights into and out of Los Angeles International Airport Monday.

FlightAware reports that 217 flights have been canceled at LAX in the past 24 hours and it has also affected other area airports.

On Monday, 58 flights were cancelled as of 8:25a.m. and 87 were delayed, according to FlightAware.

John Wayne Airport had six cancellations for 3% of flights.

Burbank Airport had eight cancellations in the last 24 hours.

The most cancelled flights were from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport with 231, Boston Logan International with 207, Newark Liberty International with 205, Charlotte//Douglas International with 203 and John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia airports with 180 and 177 respectively, according to FlightAware.
