Overnight lane reductions and ramp closures are set to begin Monday evening along the San Diego (405) Freeway through the Sepulveda Pass as crews install K-rail and perform electrical work.
The work, part of the $143.7 million I-405 Pavement Rehabilitation Project between Van Nuys and Westwood though the Sepulveda Pass, will start after 9 p.m. Monday and will end by 6 a.m. each day through April 4, according to Caltrans.
Intermittent closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as follows:
— Up to two lanes of northbound 405 between Sepulveda Boulevard and Victory Boulevard will be closed, as will up to two lanes of the northbound 405 between Wilshire Boulevard and Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive, and up to two lanes of northbound 405 between Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive and Sepulveda Boulevard;
— The off-ramp from northbound 405 to Getty Center Drive will be closed;
— The Skirball Center Drive on-ramp to the northbound 405 will be closed, as will the Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp to the northbound 405;
–Up to two lanes of the southbound 405 will close between Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive and Wilshire Boulevard;
— Up to two lanes of southbound 405 between Skirball Center Drive and Sepulveda Boulevard and up to two lanes on southbound 405 between the Ventura (101) Freeway and Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive will be closed;
— Up to two lanes of southbound 405 between Victory Boulevard and the 101, and the Victory Boulevard on-ramp to southbound 405 will be closed.
