A 54-year-old woman who allegedly stalked and assaulted former Fleetwood Mac member Lindsey Buckingham in Santa Monica has been arrested in Indiana and is set for extradition to Los Angeles, it was reported Sunday.

The incident occurred March 25, when Michelle Dick allegedly threw an unidentified substance at Buckingham, who was not injured.

Without providing details about when and where the encounter occurred, the Los Angeles Police Department acknowledged that an incident and suspect were being investigated jointly by a special department unit and counterparts in Santa Monica.

“The LAPD’s Threat Management Unit is working with the city of Santa Monica to investigate this incident,” according to an LAPD statement.

Reports said the woman had also vandalized Buckingham’s vehicle.

She spoke with KTLA5 earlier this month and admitted to confronting Buckingham and also visiting his Brentwood home in the past. Dick also told the station she lives in her car.

The station also reported that Buckingham petitioned for a restraining order, saying Dick would leave “long, drawn-out messages that included the claim she was my child and threats to kill me and my family.”

According to KTLA5, Dick recently traveled to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was arrested at a hotel on Saturday and was being held pending extradition to California.

Buckingham was the lead guitarist and a vocalist for Fleetwood Mac from 1975-87, and again from 1996-2018.
