A Silver Alert was activated for an at-risk 67-year-old man reported missing who was last seen in Reseda.
Ricky Hitsman was last seen at approximately 11:30 a.m. Wednesday near Yolanda Avenue and Ingomar Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Hitsman was described as a 5-foot-11-inch-tall man weighing 160 pounds with a bald head and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a turquoise shirt, dark blue pants and black slippers.
Anyone with information regarding Hitsman’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired people.
