A man was killed Monday while operating a tractor that rolled and trapped him at a construction site in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw area.
Firefighters were called upon to make a physical rescue around 10:40 a.m. at 3751 W. Santa Rosalia Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The first arriving unit reported a man who was operating a tractor that rolled had been trapped underneath the machine.
“A nearby heavy equipment operator was able to remove the tractor before LAFD arrived on scene,” according to department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton. “The patient was determined deceased.”
