An at-risk 12-year-old girl last seen in Pasadena who was the subject of an Ebony Alert has been located, authorities announced Friday,
Semaj Washington had last been seen at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at South Oak Knoll Avenue and East Del Mar Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Pasadena Police Department.
Semaj has since been located, but details about when or where she was found were not provided.
The CHP activates an Ebony Alert to aid in the swift recovery of missing Black persons between 12 and 25 years of age who disappeared under unexplained or suspicious circumstances.
