A 73-year-old man found dead in an alley was identified Wednesday, and detectives believe he died in an apparent homicide in South Los Angeles.
The victim was found dead in an alley around 10 p.m. Tuesday near 1200 West Leighton Ave., a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said.
The victim apparently suffered blunt-force trauma, according to the LAPD.
He was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office as Drayton Morris.
No one was apprehended at the scene and no suspect information was immediately available, the LAPD said.
