A man in his 70s, walking in unmarked crosswalk, was fatally struck by a vehicle in Winnetka, authorities said Sunday.
The motorist driving that vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
The crash occurred at about 8:10 p.m. Saturday in the 20000 block of Roscoe Boulevard, just east of Winnetka Avenue, where the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle going westbound on Roscoe.
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
