Firefighters extinguished a blaze at a 100-foot by 200-foot commercial building in Chinatown in approximately one hour, 40 minutes Thursday evening with no injuries reported.
The fire broke out at the one-story building around 6:59 p.m. Thursday at 1009 N. Main St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Arson investigators have been requested to the scene. Fire department personnel remain at the building to conduct overhaul work.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
