Two separate grass fires in Sepulveda Basin were knocked down Wednesday evening, with no reported injuries or threats to any nearby structures.

Firefighters responded around 7 p.m. Wednesday to the 5600 block of North Woodley Avenue to reports of two separate fire sets, each burning about 30 feet by 30 feet, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Fire crews stopped the fires’ forward progress within 30 minutes.
